Just booked a flight to Toronto with BA and have treated myself and the lovely Mrs. Lane to seats in Premium Economy. I used to travel a lot on business with BA and enjoyed the pleasures of a Silver Executive Club Card. In my current role I travel less and have been relegated to Blue Executive Club Card status. So no access to the Executive Club Lounge. Why not? I know there have to be rules, but why should those in Business Class – who for the most part have not personally paid for their tickets – enjoy this benefit, whilst those who personally pay a little more for Premium Economy not be able to do so? Come on BA; a policy rethink please. We’ll enjoy our flight to Toronto just that little bit more if we can visit the BA Executive Club Lounge beforehand.
